2025 - A Year in Review
Travel
We travelled around a bit this year but not as much as in recent years with a lot going on at home. For work, I was in Warsaw in June then Washington, DC in September with a number of other smaller meet-ups in Birmingham (April) and London (December). I once again visited the “Stamp and Coin Fair” in York, North Yorkshire in January but I skipped out on the July version having figured I had seen enough for the year.
- February - Visited Malta for ten days then returned for a few days stay in a remote Yorkshire cabin before returning to work.
- April - Visited London to visit the dentist (and a bit of fun including seeing the revival of Starlight Express in Wembley).
- June - Visited Canada for two weeks to see family in both Ontario and Manitoba.
- September - Mother came to visit for a few weeks so we paid a brief visit to London to see a show.
- October - Visited Scotland for a week with mother, returning to show her Isle of Arran and the north-east section of Scotland from Edinburgh to Inverness, ending up in Glasgow.
Visitors
Mother came to visit in late September for four weeks.
