High Street

Lymington is a small town in the south of The New Forest in Hampshire.

Cobbles at bottom of High

It has a charming, though steep, high street that leads down to a small section of cobbles then the quay (marina) where there is a pub offering good fish and chips (The Ship Inn) and there are boat trips in the Lymington River operating by Puffin Cruises.

There are two train stations in Lymington: NRLOGO Lymington Town, for the town, and NRLOGO Lymington Pier, for the far side of the river where the ferries to Isle of Wight depart. If visiting Lymington by car there is a limited amount of time-restricted parking on the high street itself or there are several large “pay and display” car parks just behind. There is also quite limited public parking at the quay.
