Review of 'Efes'

A wonderful Turkish restaurant in the centre of the city serving fresh and delicately seasoned dishes. The meats from the grill are absolutely suculent and the vegetables seemingly picked only moments ago from the garden. The atmosphere can get a bit noisy and reservations are required. It is also VERY crowded with tables and chairs constantly jostling one another. The best deal is the set meal which includes an assortment of appetisers, mixed grill main course, “pastries” for dessert (on my visit this was baklava with an assortment of fresh fruit) as well as apple tea (very much like a mild, hot cider) or turkish coffee. Simply fantastic.
