East of England Country Show

The East of England Country Show was held every June at the East of England showgrounds just outside of Peterborough (with a bus shuttle offered between the show and the train station) though ended in 2012 after more than 200 years.

This is very much a traditional country show with agricultural as well as entertainment exhibits. Demonstrations of old farm equipment and agricultural animal displays and contests.

The dogs of the various hunts are always a hit with the children as the dogs generally run everywhere on the pitch.
