Review of 'Jumbo Seafood'

cimg8777.jpg You go to Singapore, you have to have Chilli Crab. This is where you do it. At “The Riverwalk” location we visited or any of the others though I will say the view of the river is certainly an attraction here. We grabbed a seat at a table on the riverwalk itself and had a great view.

Of course we ordered the Chilli (Sri Lankan) Crab along with side orders of Mau buns (that we replenished several times through the meal). The sauce, oh my goodness, the sauce is amazing. The crab was great - Of course it was fiddly but very tasty as we picked our way through it - but with the sauce it just made it taste that much better. The abundance of sauce meant I was able to have several bowls of it when we finished the crab. Of course the small Mau Tou buns were slightly sweet and were wonderful for soaking up the delicious sauce. A side order of gai lan (Chinese vegetables) with garlic sauce tasted wonderful as well.

Chilli Crab

The staff were reasonably healthy though I did notice they looked at me funny with the large mess I was making (my companion was much cleaner at the end).

Eat here if you want Chilli Crab. Ok, it is not cheap but it is worth it.
