Review of 'Water Margin Oriental Buffet and Bar'

This is a Chinese buffet in the 02 that serves typical fast-food style Chinese. The main floor is a standard restaurant while the buffet is on the 1st floor. It is a modern interior with adequate, but not fantastic, service which I suppose is to be expected with this type of food.

It has to be said that the selection of food was quite impressive with about 5 or 6 different stations – Particularly good was the “teppanyaki”, where they cook whatever you select from the selection of raw ingredients (there was much more seafood on offer here, for example, than what I have seen at other similar restaurants).

If you are in the 02 seeing a performance of some kind, this would be a reasonable choice if you are looking for (a) quantity and (b) cheap. Having said that, compared to some of the buffet places in Chinatown this is definitely a step above…
