[Ladybower Reservoir (near the A6013)] Peak District The Peak District National Park is a large area of public land with some wonderful, if spartan, landscape. Actually, I was visiting Sheffield as that is where the World Snooker Championships are held every year (I am a big fan of professional snooker). There are a few small independent shops in town and there is a local train station (NRLOGO Whaley Bridge).
