The Peak

The Peak area is typically accessed using the Peak Tram available from the station in Central near Hong Kong Park on Hong Kong Island.

The tram disgorges passengers in an area of shopping complexes (including the former Peak Café The Peak Lookout restaurant – highly recommended, see my review here as well as, in the mall, the wonderful, though simple, Mak's Noodles) but walking up Lugard Road visitors reach the REAL Peak of the island as they pass by some rather expensive apartment complexes. Following the road you eventually come to Victoria Peak Garden with views out over the west side of the island towards Aberdeen and Cheung Chau Island.
