Taste of London

Chef Preparing Dish

Every June/July Regent's Park plays host to the Taste of London event which allows you to try dishes from many famous (and not so famous) restaurants around the capital. A bit of a warning: It is expensive – After the entry fee you then have to purchase tickets that can be exchanged for dishes served up by the various restaurants present. Each restaurant offers up to three dishes (typically two dishes and a dessert) which typifies the type/style of cuisine they offer. This is also a good chance to meet some of the famous chefs in London.

There is also a smaller “Taste of London at Christmas” event held in indoor venues (!).

Tickets should best be purchased well in advance and get you entrance for a “session” of something like four hours (for example, the afternoon or evening session).

Wine Tasting Session

There are also various on-site events that require tickets either be purchased or pre-booked in advance. Be sure to have a look and plan in advance to avoid disappointment though you can always watch from the side-lines…
