Review of 'The Castle of Cagliostro (Rupan sansei: Kariosutoro no shiro)'

the_castle_of_cagliostro.jpg Lupin, the famous thief, finds a beautiful maiden being held against her will by the evil count of Cagliostro who wants the (obviously) treasure promised by ancient prophesy. It is up to Lupin to rescue her in this early film by Hayao Miyazaki (though not, in my opinion, entirely up to his later standards).
