Review of 'Across the Sea of Suns'
Across the Sea of Suns by Greg Benford
One of Benford's early works, this tells the story of an earth in search of answers as it sends out an asteroid full of scientists and explorers seeking to understand the messages left for them in a crashed alien spaceship. Another story line follows the activities occuring on earth where aliens have infected the oceans and are threatening humans on land. A rather interesting mix of psychology, science and adventure. Quite interesting to read – if a bit heavy on the science in places.
