Relaxing in La Plagne

2007 - A Year in Review

2007 Country of Living: England

An interesting year. Did not end terribly well and began with my continuing to work on the arrangements for the Japan/China trip in August (really, it did occupy a LOT of my time). The first time by myself for Christmas for quite some number of years – It is difficult being away from family.

Travel

Not a lot of travel, but did do a bit…Tended to be bigger distances…

  • March - France - Mother and myself managed to go skiing for a week in La Plagne in France. We took the train from London which was absolutely fantastic and stayed in a self-catered apartment. See my La Plagne page for more information.
  • August/September - Japan/China - One of the goals of my life has been to visit Japan and China. I did get there this year with my mother. See the Personal Journal I created of my visit.
  • November - Canada - I was called back to Canada as my grandfather passed away. Not the best reason to visit though I did manage to see many people I have not seen in many years.

There were quite a number of interesting events throughout the year that I attended, including:

  • 21st - London (Science Museum) - Game On (Exhibit)
